Initially I tried to get to the other side of that (approaching from SW), but there was a guard rail and a spray painted sign saying turn around now. There was a cage-width gap in the guard rail and the pavement to the bridge continued around a curve, but being unsure if it was private property or what the deal was on that side, I decided to just get the side I got.

I never saw this bridge when it was officially functional as a bridge. Was it still functional as a bridge when your brother lived on the other side, or already closed?
