Hang in there...I'm 10 years out from my Tibia Plateau fracture and reconstruction...Mine was real bad.

Pulverized the middle of the bone that left a crater they had to fill with mix of an Osteo-Progenic protein powder/substance (marketed as OP1) mixed with cadaver bone and some t..

Sides fractured down, the part of the plateau the ACL was attached to became a "Floater" with nothing to attach to (center pulverized and sides fractured). They ended up drilling holes in that piece of bone and sutured it to the plate and screw heads hoping it would all set...

It did. Thank God..

10 year out shot of the Scar and Leg... do the Therapy and also watch your posture as you might start standing poorly to compensate for the injury which will cause back problems...
