Once in a while I got 40 mpg on my SV, not sure why even with FI. Granted, I wasn't trying for high mpg. I average 40 on my C14, you would think lower on twice the displacement. I'll still have a look, try for a test ride on the FZ, the turn off for me was high octane required. Mostly on my CRF these days, 87 octane, and 75 mpg.
