I replaced the piston rings and valve seals at 130.000km because it consumed more then 1L/1000km. After that the oil consumption was negligible. The transmission became the next problem. Shifting was sometimes blocked and I found out it was a dog broken from one of the gears which was laying under the shifting fork.
- short circuit in the power cable of the fuel pump, cable is located under the tank. Use a tube to protect the loom.
- Rectifier 2x under warranty (2nd time they replaced the complete loom), the third time I soldiered a KTM rectifier directly to the loom and place the unit on the gray side panel. The connector is the problem because it is located in the spray of the front wheel.
I sold the bike for €1500, the new owner replaced the engine.
