Will BMW or KTM be servicing these down the road and who will supply parts, has there been any info on this?
I just turned over 10k miles. No issues. Several Oil changes....I did replace the crap chain after 8k had a major kink. Once I added a Booster plug my fueling problems were much better. Several new F/I bikes suffer from being too lean...the TR is no exception....a "fooler" of some sort is needed IMHO..I really like the bike. 20 years from now I think it'll be known as a one or two year bike with a "cult" following. It's not without faults...but pretty damn good value...if you can find one.

I don't have a local BMW dealer either. It seems most Adv. Rider guys avoid the dealer at all cost anyway...except for warranty problems. It is a gas and go bike. I reckon the overheating was a result of a air bubble. The dealer didn't follow directions at set-up. The stalling problems are almost always fixed with a "fooler" ..B/P ...IICE air...there are others. Buy it ...gas ..oil..BP or similar.. Ride..repeat.
