I always wondered how the tip of my beak cracked off. The TT front fender extenders extend too much?
Also, the front fender has brackets with tabs that hold or contain the front brake lines. There is a tab on the back of the bracket that I cut off. After 6,000 miles, the brake lines still stay in the bracket. But if the front fender flies off I probably won't even notice it since the brake lines aren't attached the to the front fender.
I cut the tabs as I was attaching the TT extenders and wondering why I even bought them.
I'm thinking the best deal for the front for mud and real offroad would be to mount the back of a sumo fender up high in conjunction with the beak...do away with the lower fender. Double brake lines to keep them out of the way of the wheel.
