It's a mix. Only real choice to highway 20 is big gravel roads, but once we cross, well, it's mostly desert 2 track!
There is great riding in the Maury and Ochocos, but they are usually still covered with snow as you know. South of Highway 20 is where it's at that time of year. None of that gloppy clay, just nice pumice!

Edit: It is a full days ride. But starts and ends with big gravel roads. I'll map out the route with mileage this spring. Perfect excuse to get out there! (Like I need one)
Fuel will most likely have to be arranged, but that's no big deal.
You're never lost till you run out of gas....
