Those look too long to handle any sustained pedaling motions without serious chafing on the leg. The shorts I have are somewhat shorter (but still longer than umbros) -- just about the length of the Pearl Izumi spandex bike shorts underneath. That means that when I'm sitting and pedaling, the fabric of the baggy overshorts is moving back-and-forth on the spandex, not my leg and leg hair.
