Nope, they really were sweet bikes. I had two '77 RS's and loved the daylights outa them. Had an '83, too. Of course I '77'd the motor.
And then some.
I consider my Buell S2 to be the RS BMW could have made if they hadn't given up on the 247 motor when they did. That may only make sense in my mind.
