Is there a way to put your most commonly used smilies into the quick access bar to the right of the reply field?
I know the 15 there are pretty commonly used, but I hardly ever use  or  or  and could probably replace them with ones I use more often.
There's probably already a way to do this-- maybe?

click on the inmate CP at the top,
on the left there is a menu with, get this, edit your favorite smilies!
Select the 15 you want and you're in business.
