dovetailed mounts for rear top box with adjustment rod - sliding the box forward or backward. There's three different positions on mine now - way back, in the middle and all the way forward (makes a decent backrest).
The dovetails are made out of composite decking material - Home Depot.

It's a Doskocil box I got on ebay - $30 shipped - it's got the pressure equalizer valve and a large o-ring around the perimiter making it waterproof. Just like a pelican but cheaper and fwiw, Pelicans for a top box seem to be either just too big or just too small - this one's a perfect size.
