Actually that's not too bad. A
reproduction set for a 1971-1973 SL350 goes for $600+ and that's without any internal baffling!!! I saw a NOS seat bring over $500 a few weeks ago. For those that seek to restore their bikes back to factory perfect I guess the sky is the limit! As for mine (1971) I'm just going to keep it as a nice, mostly original, rider quality bike.
