Here's a couple older pics of mine I posted on 4strokes.com. I ditched the XR Valdez gas tank after the first long SM ride and went back to the metal stocker tank. It's clean but shows the scuffs and scratches of offroad use too

The ding on the exhaust is a reminder not to grab too much front brake while in 3rd sliding around an uphill sharp right hand turn.....

broke my ankle on that one and had to ride 112 miles home with a broken ankle and handlebars out of whack.....I've got a permanant bend in the headlight shroud from the impact of that one.

One of these days I'll get another bike strictly for dirt/dualie rides (a KTM 625 or a Husky TE610). I plan on keeping the XR and doing a complete teardown for some extreme engine, performance and asthetic mods but it will be a dedicated SM bike when I'm done. Aside from hopping the engine up I want to go with inverted CRF forks, and get the frame powdercoated black.
