Wink Saskatchewan Sportbike - Ninja 650R prepped for the prairies

A day's ride from any roads worth riding, and with the SK ministry of gravel redistribution hard at work, I made what should be the final mods to my Ninja 650R. A special thanks to Moving Pictures and Sask_Pirate for helping with the install.

All are reversible in the event I move somewhere with smooth, curvy pavement.

1. Avon Distanzia SuperMoto tires. Sticky sport rubber with deep tread blocks. Tested on one freshly graded road, one hard packed gravel road, and several freeway onramps. Far better than the BT020's on gravel, and sticky enough for any spirited riding within my limited skill set.

2. 117 litres of lockable hard luggage for those 5 hour rides to see your neighbours. Honey, do these make my butt look big?

3. You may also note the GPS, for those cloudy days when your bike is not an accurate sundial.

4. Not shown: accessory 1" taller seat to cushion my bum and give some extra legroom for those long prairie rides.

Thats how we roll in the 306.
