We've made it home, safe and sound. Both bikes even.
We are working on getting our pics together and will post a link to the ride report when it's started. I'll try and get few up here soon.
It was a long ride, 6,800 miles in 4 weeks. Not a ton of miles for the amount of time we were gone, but we stopped to smell the roses, some thing I normally don't do on solo road trips.
I'm working on improving on that.
We had a great time in spite of the hardships, and met a lot of very nice people along the way.
Thanks for all the help from the Advrider community, if I had brought my laptop along keeping in touch, or meeting up w/ a few in the areas we ventured would have been much easier.
It seemed like replies always came a bit to late to do anything about it. I was surprised how easily wi-fi can be found around the country. This world just keep getting smaller and smaller. Making it much easier to travel.
that can be a good or bad thing?????
