You know it still makes the hair on my neck stand up when your in 3rd & you pop it back to 2nd & open her up to 7000. I once went on a trip with a mate, he was on an 11 kwaka & was an exceptionally fast rider. We rode through the Gibralta ranges for about an 60 miles never getting below 100 mph & often touched 130 mph... I followed him & lost sight of him very quickly & i ran out of fuel about 5 miles out of the next town...she is thirsty at that clip. We used his battery overflow tube to syphon his fuel into a drink can on the roadside.
But i still remember holding that throttle open for ages thinking i was on a missile.
