Clint... 2 figures??? gosh... thanks! :lol3
Hope Pumas can manage to loose by less than 20 or 30 points, that would be a great deal... if we have to loose, better do it with honor.
Unfortunately, we couldn't accomplish last World Rugby Cup performance, at France, when we finished at 3rd position.

M8? you lost me... you mean to upsize from 6mm to 8mm? I didn't hear about M8 before... sorry for my "noobness"! :eek1

skibum69, is it possible that your silencer is mounted too much under the rear fender, more than the std position? mine is clearly far away from it, more outside, so the hot air don't touch it... just saying...

the first time it was pushed in when I went down on a little sand on pavement about 10' short of the space I needed:lol3 This time it was more an issue of some loose mounting bolts, the plate and fender were already toast so I didn't bother with more fixing before I got home. No biggie, just need to source another fender. Any ideas on where I might find one?

Yes, you can go to a 8mm x 1.25mm standard metric thread. Check that your rack's attachment point can easily be drilled out to take the 8mm bolt first.

    Cheers

99 640 ADV, quite a few bits here and there - bike has 10k miles and it rips.
I'm looking for a low beam unit, as I got a stone sent my way the other morning which broke the low beam lens.

I'll list the farkle list some time soon.

I haven't found a stock replacement for mine either. Rallylights.com are great people and sell Hella replacements, that should fit and improve the light output. Call them, they are very helpful!

I made my own stone guards from computer fan guards, simple cheap, but I borrowed the idea from another inmate!

    Hi!

Is the Rally cam a direct raplacement for the standard cam in a high flow headed 2005 lc4 adventure, or are there any other things to consider?

Sumi-there's a thread about the rally cam install over on ktmtalk.com in the LC4 section.

Yes, it fits. Moves the power a slight bit higher in the rev range.

Hey just found this thread. Been out of town. Don't know if registrations still apply but what the heck. Yes I have one of the beasts. 2007 issue, bought new in Calgary. Been to Inuvik on it, worst seat in the world.

Not many mods. Rewired headlights so I can run high and low beams at same time. VERY NICE. Put switch on low beam so it can be shut off when putting down fire roads at to low rpm to keep battery charging when running heated grips. Also makes starting easier with hot motor. More for amps for starter, better for it.

Took bike to Ronin motorsports in sylvan lake Alberta had it dynoed. Big improvement. Can now get 60 miles per gallon at 50 to 60 mph. Big improvement from the 45 it got previously. More riding less stopping.

Still searching for perfect tires. :slurp:slurp:slurp

    Hi Guys,

I was thinking of getting a 690 for adventure riding but they have the problem of no sub-frame to support the gear on the back. So I was thinking maybe go the 640, do they have the same problem as the 690's with supporting the gear on the back?
