I was out yesterday on the 950. We had a great fall day in Wisconsin, about 60F and close friends to share it with.

As one of the fortunate TEST riders of this new gear, the season is coming to an end and time for a Review of the BADLANDS gear after 25,000+ miles this season.

Short - It was awesome. Held up great and kept me well protected when taking a 950 ADV places it normally wouldn't. Enduring Weather and storms other gear would have failed in. I know because I've had the "other" WATERPROOF GEAR. This stuff WORKS! It will be sad to see this stuff shipped back to KLIM for them to inspect it. It's like removing a layer of skin. Nope. At least not on the SE.
Just mounted mine it looks great. Especially since it's the only clean spot on the bike.

Very nice carbon job! Even has heat reflective tape on the inside.

Nothing is set in stone yet, BUT. I hope to start working on more of these in house during Jan - Feb 2012. Once I get done w/ my backorder log in the CNC, it's on to these. I'll make a small test batch to see how everything works out. I'll need to make new tooling and fixtures to make this run a bit smoother than last time. In the long run, this will be better.

If anyone is in need of a NEW basket now, but wants a Billet one later, I have OEM baskets in stock and will offer an exchange for them back. Just send me the OEM one and your CORE unit when ready for the Billet Upgrade.

I have over 60,000 miles on my first Billet Basket and it looks as good as the day it went in.

I may also offer an upgraded HARD COATED Pressure plate and center Hub too.
