Does the GS PD comes with Japanese type turn signals switch or the left/right paddles system?

89-90 has Jap style, 91-95 left right paddles

Was it getting pushed across or was it still running?

that'll run at that depth, and pushing from the seat is not easy run it if at all possible

Regarding the water crossing, it was still running and I did make it across without stalling. Slow and steady.
I think I was near the maximum depth without getting water in the airbox. Two other fellows crossed in a 800gs and a 990 adventure before me so I had to give it a whirl.

I had two riders pull me out once I got to the other side, what you dont see in the pictures is a 4 foot high wall of gravel left from the previous weeks flood.

The bike spitted, coughed and burped a bit then went right back to normal operation once I cleared the creek.

Good to know my limits but it was close for sure.

Taking a well earned and deserved respite I see.

The tranny is out, maybe sent to Anton?

Are you getting the taller gear 5 and circlip or just a refresh?

haha, well deserved, maybe I'm itching to get it rolling again. Yep its out at Antons, getting both a higher fifth and the lower first, as well as a shaft with a circlip groove in the right spot. Just waiting on Germany to ship the part, as apparently there were no input shafts in the US!

The Final Drive was recently rebuilt, (By Anton as well) and the top end is fully refreshed as of a few hundred miles ago, so its damn near a fully new bike, despite its looks on the outside

I'll be looking forward to your impressions of the taller and lower gears and how much of a difference they made for you.

Im not expecting massive changes, but in discussing it with A it seems that it makes a big enough difference that if you really want some low, why not have an extra 5%, and same with the high. It shouldnt be that different from Stock that you can suddenly climb trees or idle at 80, but why wouldnt you want the little extra oomph if you could get it

Picked this one up today, born as GS, rebuilt as GSPD with some extra's Finally, I'm back on a R100GS! After selling my 100GS 6 year ago and regretting doing so just about from the start. Now I just have to see to the small issue of selling my /6, /7 and a large heap of parts to actually finace this GS



Anybody ever removed the roobar? I wonder if it's possible and how that looks.
