Glad the two of you will be able to join us. There are motels at I-90 and Argonne which isn't far from Savageland.

Have fun everyone! May you all receive a weird and undesirable present! I'll meet up with you on the ole dusty trail at some point.

Off to the Snakepit to surprise an old lady. KR, be safe tomorrow.

    Have fun.

The Snakepit is where we had my grandmother's 90th birthday - she loved the place and I do too.

    Good memories :D

    I do.

Phyllis and I had a great time, lots of good conversation , and the gifts were great. We stopped at A MC shop today, not used to having them open on Sunday, and found a couple of things for my battery charger ( extension cord and battery hook up).

Looked at the stuff at the Asian grocery store , got some tamarind candy I love ( tamanind, sugar, salt, chili) , some Tom Yum Gai soup base, and made some Yakasobo noodles tonight.

I was looking a the Alley Sweeper thread and thining that I have tomorrow off, so I think I will spend a few hours around town tomorrow on the DR350 in the alleys and finding some in town trails.

Thanks again LB ! and happy to meet everyone else.

I will try to get a picture of the flowers tomorrow if they are still holding together.

Gah, so sorry to have missed it. I was elbows deep in Russian wiring sorting out Mr. Cob's Ural. I must not have been channeling enough of my inner Russ as we ran into some issues, that or the German designed and built electrical connections simply objected to a Canadian boy installing them on Russian equipment, something about a war might have made them upset.:lol3
Anyway when is the next meetup? I promise to make to that one:rofl

Sorry I missed it too. The road kill was upset. I had a rough day in the garage. Worked on the 450 all morning.... Then had to redo fork seals on Ginger in the afternoon. Wasn't wanting to leave the couch after that session.

After telling everyone at the regifting party that we had flowers in bloom I figured we needed to back it up. I am looking at getting a better camera.

There are some snap dragons down below also.

Since I finally spent the money on hosted photos I will be uploading ride pics later. Here are a couple from 2008 Hells Canyon Ride, my house.
    See anyone you know?

And of course a teaser Wapshilla ridge pic looking towards the Snake, Grand Ronde and Joseph Creek canyons. The mouth of the Grande Ronde is seen on the far left.

The road up to Joseph creek is almost always good for several miles up the creek, so 40+ miles out of Clarkston ( Big Horn Sheep on the road most of the time this time of year, sometimes Elk in Joseph creek.
In Asotin you have the Asotin Creek road mostly gravel, and that splits off, usually you can get 15 + miles out that way, one branch goes to Anatone via George creek and is one of the local favorites
Ten mile creek up the Snake ( south) from Asotin, mostly gravel, may be albe to amke it to Anatone, maybe not.
Further up the Snake fom Asotin is Couse creek, one of my favorites, gravel, may be possible to make it to Anatone ( and the highway ) maybe not, might have snow.

Steptoe canyon ( gravel ) , Wawawaii canyon paved, Coyote grade- gravel, Central grade-gravel,
Spiral hwy( bring more HP) paved top 10 U.S. roads.

    Gifford Reubens rd, Lapwai rd,

So that is about 4 days of riding

Overdose ride pic below, with a flower picture taken on that ride of course
