Ahhhh. Morro Bay California. Finally made it to the warm weather (70 degrees) and have been soaking that and the sea air up, watching the sea otters play in the bay, then partaking of fresh fish and shrimp. Life is good! Of course the drivers are nuts, but as several have pointed out, so are those out on 540. Hope everyone stays warm tonight. -JD
Yup, they're great trailers. Paid less then half of what they cost brand new. I've towed a lot with the 2 bike trailer, got 3 buddies that have them. Only thing I don't like about them is the crappy ramp. But I've got the ATV ramp that works great so no big deal.
I gots kin folk there..my aunts sister liver there..I got kin all over in that area, cambria, paso robles, SLO, santa maria etc
Albie you are so right on that Kendon ramp. It is too narrow and if you aren't in the center of it, it twists off. I nearly dropped my big bike off it last time, high centered on the frame. I think I'll get a project to my welding guy at work.
I grew up 1/2 mile off 101 but way south. Eat all the sea food you can stand. They sure dont get fresh sea food in NWA
Funny thing, a few years ago one of those night time news shows did a piece on fresh seafood. Dallas had the freshest in the COUNTRY.
I have a schedule of camping events for the coming riding season. I put a few new sites in this year and kept a few of our old favorites. I hope you all will take advantage of the chance to meet some new faces and ride. As in the past, I will be posting routes a week to 10 days prior to each event. You can find them here on this thread and I will also post in the schedule. Here is a link to the 2013 Schedule. Take care and enjoy the ride.
The guy I got my Ural from gave me a great deal on his Kendon. I hadn't noticed any problem with the ramp(s) but I've only used it once. A great little trailer for sure, it stands in my basement. Jim
Morning all y'all It's cold out. I was going to change oil in the DRZ today but it'll wait until it's warmer.
