Cruz sent me a story about that a while ago.
If ktm don't build it I will.

Could be a good little jigger, and based on the pricing of the new baby Dukes would be a good price. (Hopefully)

If the motor has power like the Berg 390 then it would be a sweet setup.

The KTM’s India website marks the Duke 390 with a “coming soon” tag. So we can expect the Duke 390 to arrive into India by March 2013 and the motorcycle will be the second KTM bike in India after doing well KTM Duke 200. The bike will be manufactured locally at Bajaj Auto’s Chakan manufacturing facility.

Yes tempting, but a little less CC and the savings that go with it some areas would be better for me.

Looking at the motor itself in the photos it does not look like other smaller KTM motors, and is supposedly an all new motor made for the Dukes.

Doesn't make much sense to me.
You'd be wringing the guts out of it if loaded up and negotiating some hills or speed etc.
    I agree with Cruz.....690's the go.....sweet engine.

    You behave! :1drink

There is a market for less powerful, lower, lighter bikes that can still do every thing the rider wants to do. Not enduro bikes or overweight underpowered under sprung trail bikes. As more riders get older or injured I think this market will only get bigger.

Doesn't matter, he's black(duk)listed me or something, I can type what I want and apparently he never sees it..... :rofl

Seriously Joe, that island is in the middle of f****** NOWHERE, Google haven't even bothered taking a photo of it without clouds obscuring the place (or did you never see the sun?). FFS this summer has got to be a different world.

LOL, not you too? I'm hitting the gym now so that next winter when I ride again I can actually hold onto the handlebars (and not get left in the creek as the bike monos safely over it..... which happenend at Jimbour!!! :rofl

PS. You actually detailed why I got rid of the giant 990 and went back to a 'little' bike!

Are you calling me "older" Cruz, just cause I want a similair weighted, slightly better powered, better sprung, wider ratio gearboxed, bug free, then my much loved DRZ, well I did get a year older yesterday.
