I've been updating my post from the 1st page of this thread.

If someone can show me how to insert a table, it'll look nicer.

I've talked off and on for awhile about doing a ride down at Medicine Lodge. It's a town right on the edge of the Gypsum Hills, pop. about 2500. Usually full during the Peace Treaty Festival, in September, and real popular during deer hunting season. I'd like to do something down there in May, or early June, before it gets really really hot, anyway, because it's as you can tell, a semi-arid desert like place...those are Red cedars you see.

I'm not thinking a Rally or nothin'. Just a few riders, get down there Friday night, take a few rooms at the motel, there's 2 to choose from, ride dawn to dusk Saturday, head home Sunday after maybe a couple hour ride..think about it anyway, let's see what we can put together.
Big trailies could handle nearly everything I should think..there's some pretty dusty roads, but none of this could be considered true off road.

Sorry about the hijack, but everyone is already gathering up here..

I braved the 25* cold :vardy this morning and rode my CB750 over to Overlander's place for that free coffee.
It seems that he is missing in action. The guys next door said he was not there and that they have not seen him in weeks so, I didnt get my free coffee. :2cry

It was a pretty nice ride into KansasCity though with lots of sunshine and not to much traffic. While trying to get around in the west bottoms I kind of felt like a mouse in a maze. Its quite a challenge to ride around down there with the maze of one way streets and road construction.

Im not going to let you off that easily though Overlander, I'll stop back by some other time. :ricky

I rode to Tulsa yesterday (Friday) for the Easter weekend with in-laws. Left KC and the gauge read 30 degrees and when I got there it was 41. Never ridden in that cold temperature, nor for that long - 240 miles.

25 degrees! Deadly, you are tougher than me. Ride on! :vardy

You're on the list, even though you're in Illinois. Figure "tiger" in tiger4me is a MU reference. :D

Luv to do a ride in the Gypsum Hills. Katbeanz and I did some riding in the Alma area about a year ago, and I've done the Cassoday area. Fun stuff!

Enough of my hijaks. Back to the topic.
