You're right, it is probably too fast for me.:rofl

Had no idea they were punching out the little ninjette until my copy of Motorcyclist showed up today. They are having a small bike shootout that included it. I guess they didn't like the way the press fawned over the cbr250r.

I got stuck at work late. Got home at 8, pulled a 2 inch screw out of the back tire on the VW. I just went for a ride on the WR to check the speedo and odometer versus GPS. It is still way off like it was the other weekend. GPS says I went 4.4 miles, trip odometer says 11.1 miles. Speedo was of about the same. Time to do some math and figure out if I can correct it with the speedodrd.

I wasn't hiding. I just don't pay much attention to new bikes other than my one magazine subscription. They usually don't concentrate much in the press on anything under 650 CC.

I'll be in a cave shortly - somewhat.

MCN covered that bike about a month ago, but after 10+ years, I will not be renewing. Price has gotten up to the point that I don't think it is worth it.

Lots of good stuff, but I think I have had my fill of how to line up the apex of a turn (compleat with too many diagrams) and why a hard seat can give me piles.

I can read the latest bike news here..... even if it is "late." :lol3

Agreed............MCN has gotten way too pricey, Sue just renewed me for the last time, the only reason I did re-up was because of a free subscription to my oldest M/C riding son...........so two for the price of one, Merry Xmas son :evil

    And speaking of publications...............

I found out a couple months ago that a good friend of mine, a publisher (some of whom you may know by his publication – intentionally not disclosed), was diagnosed as having thyroid cancer. Due to the size of his “NFL neck” it went undetected. Once found, his thyroid was removed, but the jury is still out if it has spread. As of today, I got the following note: “Thus the arguments and upsetness today..NOTHING FROM THE DRS IN TWO WEEKS.... Okay just let the cancer sit here... Sorry Guy..I am pissed, scared and upset!”

I am concerned for the health and well being of all folks, but when it comes to someone I personally know, it becomes somewhat personal. If you have ever met these folks, you would understand.

A little thought and prayer sent their way during this holiday season might go a long way.

I must have been on crack that month. :stoned

Yeah not like me to miss big motorcycle news like that. An upgraded Vulcan 1500 I might scan over, but the ninjette goes 300cc? That's big.
