Yes, Hwy 12 is just across the river and shows a little in the picture. I was thinking of borrowing one of the pictures of the Winding road 99 miles sign , I think it is in about that area of Hwy 12.

Now if someone recognizes the town upriver from Kamiah, that white elk is pretty unusual, stay on the South side of the river for several miles, basically to the end of the road, just across the river from the highway.

last august it was still there, but not being used. he did have a few plastic gas containers, but only had a gallon or two to sell.
He had just recently taken the place over, so I imagine he has settled in by now, and we'll see what his attitude is after surviving a winter there,,:lol3

I posted the picture in # 3074 for Wallowa as a gift and he knows where the picture is taken at. So make a guess and Wallowa can say if you are right or not, or just post another picture for all of us to guess at:D.

Good pic Roy. All the summer fallow, roads, fences are blended/overwhelmed by the green.

Come on people. Where was this taken from? What direction? What town in the distance?

What mountains on the horizon? Guess Something?
