Nicely set up bike, dheimer. Glad you got it back together. You could just paint your front fender with flat or satin black rattlecan.I left some of the original orange paint behind as racing stripes. The completely orange fender looked out of place after the tanks were added.

Four of us from Northern CA with 990 Adventures decided to do a 5 state 2100 mile tour (UT,CO,AZ,NM,NV). We decided to skip the 600 miles of boring slab and trailer to Las Vegas NV. We could have taken backroads and dirt, but that was mostly stuff we have done many times and we wanted to spend all of our riding time doing something new. Highlights included The Valley of Fire,

We then traveled through Zion, and camped out for the night near Mt Carmel.

The next day was Bryce Canyon then through the Escalante Staircase,
    [IMG]
At Boulder UT we took the Burr trail, which started out paved then turned to dirt
    [IMG]

After a long off road with a lot of deep sand washes we made it to Capital Reef NP. and camped nearby

Next was the ride to Moab. I'm not sure how many pictures I can have in a single post so I will continue with another post.

What happened to Matto Cycle? Don't they carry KTM any longer? Went to site to order few things and no KTM.

Clearwater Kristas. We luv em. They light up the night like daytime and help with daytime visibility.

Bike is officially done. Rally Raid windscreen finally arrived. Feels a lot better from the buffeting standpoint. [IMG]

Continental Divide pics from September, 2011. Definitely lacking the artsy skills of some of ya, but these are the captured memories that will last a life time. This was a two week ride with my wife, 2800 miles, 25% off the tarmac, loaded to the nuts with camping gear, tools, laptop, cameras, and even the straight iron for the wife.

This is what I would rather 'envision' than go to work tomorrow...
