I suppose these are considered scooters. I was riding the Grossglocknerstrasse in the Austrian Alps the other day when these bad boys showed up! They don't require plates but they had Czech Republic stickers. They're much faster than they look! No Air Filters and a nice big tank, I want one!

How do those make enough power to get all the way up there?

I have no idea how they did it, but they were passing cars all the way up the mountain. They're loud as hell too.

Googling "Stadion" from the tank in the first picture gives you info on a Czech moped made from the late '50's to mid-'60's that used a Jawa engine. The pictures seem a mix of old Stadion mopeds with an assortment of new bicycle parts.

looks like the moped army is going international.
