    Ok folks,

I have just committed , or maybe I have just been committed, (godda luv the English as it is spoke) to returning to our Southern States to see how things are going:wink: (how many bites will I get?:D)

It's been a long time between drinks of Tui.
I can still remember why they don't bother to export it!

Enough shit stirring, I'm coming over again with my R80GS that spat me off and tried to kill me on your wonderful roads in Dec 08:cry, arriving in CC the weekend before Burt Munro's Speed Festival, then after, making my way north to cross into Wellington before Christmas, Wanaguni (sp?) Boxing Day, then make my way to the BMW rally somewhere in the middle.
No bloody details on their website yet, via a little excursion into some area's that the public have not seen, since JC played for the All Blacks.

Look forward to catching up with some of you.

PS Don't bother trying the Bledsloe(sp?) angle on me, I follow real football.
    Go the Roo's:clap

Youse so called footbal guys couldn't go 2 rounds with a revolving door:lol3:lol3:lol3

Hey we'd be happy to be part of Oz as long as it meant we get paid in Oz $ :lol3 & aren't made to play that silly game with the tight shorts & funny goalposts

Good Stuff Chris! Have fun in the South Isle, come & stay when you make it north. Not sure what we're up to over the Xmas break yet but quite possibly some riding/camping somewhere so we will keep you posted.

    Cheers

Of course, and if they let you back into our fair country, I'll have a beer with you at the Isle of Wright, same place as last year.

PS, you can use my name as a reference, if they stop you at the terminal.

    Thats whats friends are for.

Of course, just like riding a horse or flying an airplane, have an accident, you just get back on/in and go again, other wise you may as well curl up in a foetal postion and suck your thumb.

    That ain't me.

    AND it still your shout!!

Booked into the Homebush motel in Dee St Invercargill for 5 nights.
I belive it is a 3 bedroom suite with lounge/kitchen like we had 2 years ago.All paid for,so I have beds available if any one is interested.

    Gotta luv the Oz $:D:D:D.

Still waiting to hear from the lads who are doing the 3 day ride through the NZ Army training base in the North, but spoke to one of the organisers last night and there are still spaces available for $275NZ, I'm in.

Just got to book my accomadation in Wanganhui, where I was going to stay in 08, hope it is better then my same time in the ICU at Hamiliton:D:D

Can't wait to get back there on my bike.

No bullshit, I have been very fortunate to ride some great roads throughout the world, but NZ gets my thumbs up, as for the next best, Vietnam.

    IMHO

BUT, I still call Australia home if push came to shove.

I don't need friends (managed without 'em so far:lol3) - I qualify as an Aussie resident.
    Went to school in Sydney...

Also I'm thinking that the next thing I'd hear after mentioning your name at the border would be the snap of rubber gloves....

Good stuff. If you want somewhere to stay on the way down feel free to swing East to my place. If the R80 needs any maintenance, mods or fettling you are welcome to use my shed for as long as it takes.

Looks like we will be up for some riding & camping over xmas so keep us posted. Could be keen on boxing day at Wanganui too.

    Cheers

I sure hope the bike won't need much fettling. I'd feel really bad about this.
