    200 for now

Guy has had head gasket sealing issues. Runs a couple hours and blows the gasket. Gonna look at taking a light cut on all surfaces, and see what happens. If that fails, then I'm just gonna start with new chit.

It's got a fresh bore, and weisco pro-lite ~3 hours on it. Carb and such is stock from what I'm told.

    BRAND NEW aftermarket radiators.

Racetec Gold Valves, and springs are new.

looks as if he tried to lower the compression with three base gaskets :huh

    teardown will begin tomorrow

Yeah, that don't sound good. He might have been lookin for some squish espace having put the wrong piston in it, or perhaps as a 'fix' to shaving a bit too much off the head/jug, or both. Maybe more likely, he was trying to salvage the head gasket, ey? Anyway, it looks like a cool bike. I've had both modern 200 and 220 and couldn't tell the diff. Don't know that I'd spend much getting that 20cc's.

Well.... I can't half ass anything... TWO pages of parts on the way...
Head, and top of the jug are FLAT now- no doubt. Machined and lapped flat.
Weisco Pro-lite and a fresh bore getting served up. Reeds, new intake (cracked) new head, and cylinder studs going in, all the drive gear, bars, grips, bars, levers, bark busters, brakes, plastics, filter, gaskets, tires, tubes.... Might as well get a JD kit coming too at this point.

Oh, and the Rally Raid filter kit for the 690 is installed- MHO :nah
