Looks like a fun one, Marty. I've got plans to head east this weekend, but will head to Darrington if my trip gets cancelled.

If it is like last year, it's doable on a Wee but prolly much more fun on a TE. I did it on a TE250 last year.

There are some spots that will be tough on a Strom. I ride a 990 adv and have lots of dirt experience and have no problems on the course. You won't need a chart holder, we decided to ride as a group (or groups). Camping is good at a campground just west of the bluegrass grounds (Squire Creek). The first loop is around 90 miles and you will need to run that far before gas is available. I hope to see you there.

    great day for a ride..

Thanks to Marty and The Skagit Motorcycle club for putting on the ride.

I got up there early Saturday to do some camping and exploring on my own. I had a great time exploring some of the forest road spurs off of the Mt Loop Hwy.

Ran into this... could only be in Darrington :lol3.

I've been there a few times with the Cap'n, Tom and Oldx. I was going to crawl to the end of the log in this picture last time I was there, then aborted mission when I noticed how rotten it was.
