This past sunday, rode my 2011 Ural Patrol Valencia to the summit of Monarch Pass here in Colorado, then went home by way of Cañon City's Skyline Drive....I think you'll like the video (don't watch if heights get to you).

More pics, and the video, here on my blog: LINK

I have the same rig - when the temp drops below 30 I get bad carb icing. How are you set up for winter riding?[IMG]

I love how you compose your photos, you definitely have the "eye" for it. Kudos and congraulations

If copying is a sincere form of flattery, then consider yourself sincerely flattered. Am learning from your photos how improve my own on my next ride to Alaska.

Nice photos, beautiful locations - real mountains, wow!
Interesting ridge ride. I began thinking of the people who made the road, small dozers etc, not much room for them to make an error. And how about those before them, who laid the support stones by hand, I presume.

thanks tripodtiger, the road was built with convict labor from the nearby Territorial prision.

I did a "then and now" posting of Skyline Drive that you might find interesting: LINK
