    Here's a couple old shots of my "72 Lightning. Bought it new, rode it hard, put it away wet years ago. Currently in the shop, hoping to ride it again this summer.

    I had a 1971 B50MX for a few weeks. I got that thing stuck a few times at trying to trail ride it. I raced it once at Sears Point in 1973 and promptly traded it for a 1971 Husky 250. Much better!

    The BSA was a pretty thing. I don't remember my tank stripe being black, though. The Husky was a pretty thing too. Both had those beautiful hand made polished aluminum fuel tanks.

    I thought the 73's had a yellow stripe on the polished tank.
