Looks like a fun trip, but it's a shame what they did to that Superior combo. :cry

Impression: Front ski grabs to good so back washes out on ice but still fun.

Dedicated snow machine: I like the bike feel(extreme angles) in turns. You need to control the bike not get on and ride(like a sled). Since my XR is street legal and has motorcycle title, I couldn't get snowmobile trail pass. My understanding is if you have a non-street legal title, you just give up the motorcycle title and register it as a sled and they will allow it on trails.

Putting front tire on: My nephew hill climbs so we will see how it does!

Cost: $3000 delivered(from Canada) but keeps XR going all year. I figure why store something half the year, just to bring out another mechanical machine that sat around the other half of the year. 2 older sleds and trailer to maintain, No thank you! :lol3

$3000 is not too bad I suppose. I thought they were more like $5000. I like the concept, it looks like a ton of fun.

5 yrs ago there was a guy(in MN) selling them for around $5000 and there are two other brands selling for around 5000 also. The Explorer kit is made by AD Bovin(maker of the SnowHawk) out of Canada.

Geez, the BS needs a bump! :D

Anybody know if there is a place to park the bikes at the Metrodome for the supercross?

FYI you can get pit passes after March 25 at Subway. Save $10 bucks.

So we're watching the idiot box last night and the Top Gear (UK) fellas are in India. The put a large banner on a train that says "Eat English Muffins". In true Top Gear fashion the train takes off and rips the sign so that it now says "Eat English Muff".

My laughter brought on many questions from the younger members of my family that I was unprepared to answer. :lol3

    How would you answer? :ear

8 and 10 year old boys asking "What is Muff?"

I just laughed and told them to put pajamas on and brush their teeth.

Those gpx tracks from Cannon Falls to New Albin look like Jack's route from a couple years ago. It's a very pleasing route.

That's good to know. They are not of my devising, I just did some fixifying and convertating. But I intend to try them out.

Not that this a is a custom bike crowd but is anyone planning on going to the Donnie Smith deal on the 23rd or 24th? I was able to score some comp passes for the boys and I on Sunday.

    I smell Cosetta's!!!

I went to DS show about 5+ years ago. Twice I think. It's OK but choppers aren't my thing.

I know it was requested that this shitty little thread be moved to regionals but I liked it better when it was in inmates. Here it can be seen by anyone with or without a log-in. Not that it takes much to make a log-in but still...
