Quick question: pros and cons of swapping the Big Heavy OEM battery with a Lithium-Ion battery (besides weight-savings)? Someone mentioned that moving the battery allowed for installing the plastics from another model bike, etc. The weight savings is very compelling.
One more quick question: what tires should I get? Tempted at get the most aggressive DOTs possible but maybe 80/20s are a better bet for now.

The weight difference of the batter swap is not an issue for me. Tires. Dunlop 606 rear, Pirelli MT21 front. My nickle so there....

Ya came out white. The gap is noticeably larger than a fresh plug too so I figure it was eating away at it over time. Running: uni, q4 w/o spark arrest, daves, 55/158, desmog It has 27k total miles so I think I'll stick to what I'm doing until it gives up I take pride in my nail cutting Mike B
