I'm guessing Moorabbin Airport. I'm pretty sure I've posted tags taken at Moorabbin.

Just this evening my father mentioned that his mother used to say you could tell a man who was from Wellington, by the way he held onto his hat whenever he walked around a corner...

It would appear that you do have the tag...

Time to return to normal programming!

I guess we offer it up to the next tagger who can find "Kids (of any age) outdoors with their brand new toy!"

I'm also headed off (down along the coast of course) for a few days, leaving tomorrow, but I will at least have my bike and my internet connection with me.

We really need some more southern hemisphere taggers to help carry us through the northern winter...

So, the tag is still waiting:
Kids (of any age) outdoors with their brand new toy!
(may be family, may be close to home, someone please, wheel your bike out into the driveway next to your kid's new sled!)

There are 3 new Christmas toys in this pic and I'm a kid at heart:

    1) New gate for a soon to be new fence.
    2) New GPS mount for an old but trustworthy GPS.
    3) A brand new collapsible contact fire staff from Home of Poi (NZ). Breaks down for transport on the motorcycle :lol3

Figure that since we waited this long for a grab you all won't mind if I do something uncharacteristic and post up a new tag tomorrow instead of tonight. I've got a ride planned for the am and will get something good.

I'm not so sure about a gate as a new toy, and the GPS mount is pretty much out of sight...

    but that firestick definitely qualifies!

Is your beannie (hat) made from possum fur by any chance?

So I couldn't sleep and decided to go riding in the middle of the night...(actually I just spent the last 5 hours riding in freezing temperatures). Brr chilly. Wish I were in the other hemisphere right now.

Stopped here at one point tonight ->

The new tag is something that evokes images of gunslingers battling it out in the streets and cheesy Italian spaghetti westerns. Think Clint Eastwood in a Mexican poncho with a cigar hanging out of his mouth and the biggest six shooters you've ever seen hanging at his sides.

Close as I could find - or think of as there aren't a lot of saloons within reach. Even thought of looking for something with "Blondie" in the name, but this is what I found. New tag will be posted upon approval.

Further information has come to hand, we have a casualty...

My friend in Coburg has discovered that a hailstone went through the tail light lens on his $100 CT125 farm bike!

The tag doesn't say you have to wash it, so I think the winner should be the "dirtiest" bike in a car wash...

You guys are too much. If I didn't just take a shower myself I'd go rip it up out here (almost literally my back yard - 1/2 mile as the crow flies from my driveway) then grab the tag.

But I'm just not feeling like getting that dirty today.

That looks a LOT like it needs some fresh KTM tracks in it. Just sayin'. :D

I need a new front tire first. After really really really liking the Shinko 244 front on the F8 I decided to try the more robust Shinko 700 which is rated for heavier loads and higher speeds.

Unfortunately the 700, while a good dry dirt front, doesn't stand up to that road and washes out in the mud. It'll get you through it but you won't have as much fun as you would when you crank the throttle and dig in the the rear. The 244 handled that road like a champ, navigating the mud and rocks with precision and confidence at a fair clip.

I'm contemplating ordering another 244 and dumping my half worn 700 front. It sucks not being able to ride how I want to. Out of all the fronts I've ever tried the 244 is about the best "dual sport" type. Only bad thing about the 244 front is that it's soft and will only last around 6000 miles. It howls like a banshee towards the end of it's life but it gets even better in the dirt the more you wear it down.
