On the below bag liners can they be made up with a perimeter zipper on one side so that they can be laid on the side flipped open and loaded say like a carry on bag or something. I have hard mounted Caribou Cases and have been looking for a liner to make loading easier. but am not a fan of the "gate mouth bags"

    kellyk7,

I could put together bag liners like you described below pretty easily. The price would still be the standard pricing for bag liners listed in the first post. Let me know if you are still interested!

    Thanks!

Hmmm. I might go for the same thing - bags with the zipper off-center so they open like a suitcase. I have Pelican 1550's as panniers, which I believe are the same size that the Caribou's are based on.

If you could post up the drawing and dimensions here I might just chime in and say "ditto....".

Maybe the handle strap could run from side to side like a computer bag (instead of front to back, if I'm making any sense)?

Take your time dude. Work is crazy here too. Oh yeah, and there's some sort of Holiday coming up or so my wife tells me....!

Pelican.com lists the interior dimensions of the 1550 as

    18.43" x 14.00" x 7.62" (46.8 x 35.5 x 19.3 cm)

Here's a quick sketch to make sure that I am understanding what you're thinking. I've also noted the dimensions with letter designations so it will be easier to identify actual dimensions you want. Let me know if this is what you are thinking.

    THAT'S IT!!

To make sure it fits inside the pannier, "A" should be a finished size of 7". "B" should be a finished size of 18". "C" should be a finished size of 13-1/2 ". That'd be perfect.

Let me give some thought to how that handle should go.... As soon as I'm sure of how I want the handle I'll be placing the order for two in heavy-duty dark blue!

    Corrado,

You think you could make something like this? If so what would be the cost?

    Mudmanajl,

I'll look into this and get back to you. Are these made out of a fleece lined material?

You should be able to get a minimum of eight maps in the map pouch. More if they are thin.

Let me know if you want me to whip one together for you.

    Thanks!
