Next thing I knew I was somehow drawn to these threads more than I would ever have expected and once sucked in there was no escape. Today your evil plotting grabbed me by the wallet. Can't wait to take it for a rip. It's an '06 with 13 miles on it so apparently the PO didn't feel the same. Snagged it off FleaBay for $2750. Odd looking little beast. I'm hoping she's just not real photogenic.

I was hoping you'd say that ! Spec wise it sure looks like it's got some top drawer engineering behind it. Seems a little lardy compared to everything else in it's class though. I wonder where that extra 50 or 60 pounds is hanging out? According to the numbers the Helix is might svelte in comparison. The biggest question I've got is how to pick what size screen I need. The universal complaint seems to be wind blast and I see where some have bought a few different screens trying to sort that but is there a way to figure out what you need before you order?

Thanks for the link, Warney. I was kind of surprised to find that deal myself. I've been looking off and on (mostly off) for a few months and thinking about a Morph for a year or so. I guess I was trying to give myself time to let it escape from my head. Didn't work. Seeing one pop up on FleaBay that might as well have just rolled off the showroom though was a definite surprise and hard to pass up. When the auction stopped at $2750 I was nicely surprised again. Seems like the look of this scoot might have slotted it into a fairly narrow market.

Sweet ride! Thats a fine deal you got! I like the looks of the Morphous. It looks like a more modernized Helix without that 80s design. I bet it is pretty fast too!
Speaking of that there's a sharp Helix on FleaBay now with under 500 miles on it. Closes tomorrow. I figured I'd take a crack at that one if the bid on the Morph didn't work out. It's a sharp little Helix for sure.
Maybe some of that 3M reflective mylar material that is almost transparent until a light hits it at night.
That'll probably be the way. Hell, I haven't even seen it yet so I suppose it'd be best to enjoy it pristine until the finish gets a little tired.
