Lets see your rides in hibernation...

Fun thread tho some need to look up the word "hibernation."

My 2 sporting steeds rest comfortably in a spare bedroom each winter.

And no, it doesn't mean I don't ride. You're more than welcome to look in my sig line for some fun filled winter riding on my studded tire KLR.

Got up to almost 40 degrees today, so things softened up enough for me to chop a path through the ice and take the bike out for some tag-o-rama.



But all good things must come to end. Soon enough it was nap time for the bike again, so it rejoined it's friends the canoe and the kayaks in their dorm room.

They never really go away for the winter.Some ride when its not snowing,and some nomatter what.

Bah, give me -10 and mountains any day over Florida

250R = SWEET!
Death on three wheels; mine hurt everyone that got on it except me.

I can't tell you how many times I heard "yeah, I know. I have been riding motorcycles for years; I'll be fine"!

Nah,86 250R's are a dream to ride.I had a 85 Kawi Tecatie that was death!!!It went like a raped ape in a straight line,faster then any 250R.But the first turn,and you better have your affairs in order.

She never actually "hibernates" as we get the occasional break from the cold and snow. Our carport has never had my car in it.




Snow is stupid.

This is why I moved from Boston to SoCal...no hibernation.

Some peoples garages are way to tidy, thanks to the rest for making me feel better

There she is in the back ground, on the charger and pointed out ready for milder weather. The snow missle takes its place at this time of year, heading out on her in an hour

this reminds me i need to go put the charger on the bike. hopefully the battery hasnt died yet.

Breaks my heart every time I head out for a beer yeah it's 5 degrees and 6"+ of snow on the ground with more coming down. Hopefully only about 6-8 weeks and we'll be rocking down the road.

You are supposed to attach the snow blower to the FRONT of the bike!!! It won't do you much good back there!
