It's amazing how much difference little actions like that can make. :thumb

It makes me think that getting heavy curtains over the windows and a big, soft rug in that room are very important additions, before I do anything else with the actual audio system. I always planned to do those things at some point, now I am certain I need to do them.

All this, just to make Motorheads "Ace of Spades" sound just right. :evil

Pretty nice here in Pansy's hot tub. Except that I called the house phone to get a beer and no one picked up. :bluduh

Ace of Spades. Cool. Liked it when they played in the Young Ones living room.

Best Young Ones musical segment... good question. Madness with Our House?

Both very good, although Alexei Sayles "just make stupid noises" was hard to beat.

    $2000 for a record player?

I guess I bought a $2000 eight track player! It had a free boat attached to it!

Yup. Of course it's all personal preference. You have to REALLY like just listening to music to warrant lashing out that kind of cash. Of course, like any passtime, you can pretty much spend what you want.

How about this beautiful EAR discmaster?

    Only $28,500.

Of course, you need an amplifier and speakers too.

I don't anticipate buying one of these, ever.

    Nope. You buying it?

In other news - congrats to Get_Bent who has made the front cover of the latest 'Stitch catalog, and Rickcorwn who is on the inside cover. :thumb

A high honour indeed. Or something. :D

    EDIT: Yes. Honour, not honor.

Not me. A fake internet friend maybe.

Hacks are the minivan of the motorcycle world. To be avoided at all cost.

You must be further north than me I haven't gotten my 2013 catalog yet. Lucky.

Funny you should ask that, because I just checked - and lo and behold they are. They are allegedly available in both cleat and wedge pattern, as always, and with no supply issues at all I am sure.
