I'm disappointed, I expected to see the Super Tenere sliding through the corners.

I spent a hour or so riding in the timber today. Hopping logs is easy with screws in your tires.

That was my question.....You must have put the spikes on. Looks fun

Not sliding through any corners today but got out for a 50 mile ride.

You poor guy, you don't have any snow down there.

No snow we are much closer to the Bahamas down here.

Anyone near the IA/MO border that would like to help with a dog delivery relay? It's happening this weekend. We need someone to fill a gap between the border and Des Moines.

I had to get my bike from my inlaws garage to my fathers shop to do some work on it over this winter. It was warm enough that I decided to ride it over instead of trailer it. It was only a 3 mile ride but it felt good to be back on 2 wheels!!!

Where do they do this? Every weekend?
I am new to Iowa and want to try this. I will buy some studded rubber and rip it up as often as possible.
Where please?
Do they also have races?

This was on the Ottumwa lagoons [ Parks]
Bikes ride there all the time when the ice is good.
No races there.
There is a groop of ice riders around here that are on the Ice every weekend.
Have you ask around at the cycle shops up there?

I did ask at a struthers here in des moines and they really had no info.
I don't mind driving down there.

They ride on the lagoons that are on the south side of the river kind of on the west side of Ottumwa.
just south of where 34 and 63 meet.

Rode today. It was a balmy 14F out.

Thanks! Yeah, I just picked it up in early November - a leftover '12 that I just couldn't pass up. Actually got a few good rides in before the snow hit.
