Honz would know. BMW only recommends synthetic muffler fluid. Conventional mineral blinker fluid (available only at your dealer) is required to maintain the vehicle warranty.

I just changed mine to fire blue at South sound. Apparently going in to production in the 13th week. The tires are going to get ridden off it and if theres recalls when it gets here, then the dealer will be able to do them. Whos got pictures? anything interesting?
Haven't heard an complaints about the fact that it isn't water for coolant rather something far more expensive http://www.evanscoolants.co.uk I give you waterless coolant, at a premium price of course
And you're telling me to chill out? Buddy, switch to decaf. It's not like I insulted your family. Talking about tires for a bike that isn't even available yet is just conjecture--even more conjecture than talking about a bike with little real world experience. Jus' sayin'. We could talk about using urine in the LC in an emergency--that would be more interesting than another tire discussion.
Sure it is conjecture, but the tires are new and have just become available so it is still a valid data point of discussion. Not that I enjoy hearing people argue over which tire is best, but news has been slow the last several days.
Not sure what toothpaste you are using but no question should be too stupid to ask, iIn my case I can totally tolerate everything as long as there is some intelligence provided
It's Beefeater Steve. And no, not really. I've been watching / reading this thread for months now, thinking of some way to get this new GS. Begging, borrowing, stealing--nothing has been ruled out. I make decent money, have 5 kids, no debt, and am looking for a new(er) bike. With anything I buy, I have two rules: 1. Only if I can pay cash money for it. 2. Value is one of three "keys" to buying anything. Yes, I can pay cash for the new bike, but doing so would crap all over #2 because I don't mind a gently used bike if I can avoid the depreciation. All of this is a long way to say: I'm getting a 2010 GSA because I love it and the value is good--therefore, I have no reason to keep obsessing over the new bike (or this thread). Sorry I ruffled feathers, fellas. Ride safely. B.S.
On the dutch forum I read about a second canadian recall. This one concerns ASC. No more details so far. Over here it will probably just be called an update.
Too bad. You are missing a good part of pure motorcycling. :) (esp. when you realize you can ride almost the same when others can't) I ride even in snow (within reason). I don't do seasonal riding.
