Did someone move this thread into Road Warriors or did I post it here? I sure thought I posted this in the Beast section!

What the heck do I know? Street tires are probably fine, I'd probably stick to pavement if I had a bike like this anyways. Hard luggage would still be cool though. I want my next bike to be sportier than the ones I have though, ad although this is cool, I am not sure it is quite what I want.

You did put it into beasts. The mods just don't know what they are looking at.

:lol3 The lines get blurred for sure. But I see this thing with its comfy fairing and front cylinder exhaust pipe all hanging down below in the breeze, and am looking at a Road Warrior, so I moved it here.

And BTW, I dig it. :D

    Arch,

I think you forgot to move all the MultiStrada, Ulysses, Versys, and new Tiger threads here as well. Perhaps a Ducati shouldn't be called a beast, I won't argue that one.

Looking at the pic the tires look as agressive as the typical adventure tread, not knobbies but definitely not a Scorpion Sync.

Don't have the energy or patience to care, so I'll move it back to Beasts and bow out of the thread. Carry on.

My exact thoughts! Then reason takes over and 'Paid For' vs $13,000+ rears it's ugly head as apples to apples it really has nothing over the GC to justify the expense. Besides, there's only some 2000 Gran Canyon's in the entire country and that makes it a rather exclusive club.

It sure is a sexy beast though and as I've been drooling over an 'S' model Hyper this thing has me popping a chub like it's some kind of mechanical Viagra.

Looks like a Photoshop to me.

I like the fairing treatment. Headlights that tie it to the Superbikes. Cleaner rearend than the current Multi.

They don't appear to have adressed the two big shortcomings of the Multistrada: fuel tank capacity and the front wheel.

The Multi needs at least 6-gallons of fuel and a 19" front wheel. A narrower rear would be cool, too, in order to use tires like the TKC-80.

I don't buy new anyway. It's going to be another 5 years with the GC at least.

I like it, but it needs a larger tank than a hypermotard for sure, spoke wheels 19 and 18 inch so you can put tkc's on it and bag mounts. It is a step in the right direction for sure! :clap

Those pics are just some rather crude photochop attempts to guess what the new MTS might look like (and imho, are way, way off). Nothing to get excited about just yet:rofl

    Babel Fish sez:

Little less than 12 months from the official launch, the new Ducati Stradaperta 1200 begins to being on the mouth and in the thoughts of all the motorcyclists and of the fans of the Red ones of Panigale Village. Heir of that which she has been victim of its design more than dell' to be intinsecamente " avanti" with the times, Multistrada, l' unknown " tuttofare" Ducati will nearly maintain completely to the spirit fines-purpose of its progenitrice unchanged, evolving deeply in the forms and the mechanics. According to the first information that we have harvest, " renderizzate" from the celebre matita of Raffaele Poblete, Stradaperta would have to be the first Ducati product on which 1200 DS will come installed the twin-cylinder engine: third party step of family DS, new bicylindrical to L air-cooled is born in order to offer performances higher, not only to lows and means regimes. L' attempt of the technicians of Panigale Village, in fact, is that one to smash in the wall of i 100 CV… without but putting from part the proverbiale quality dell' distribution to the means and lows regimes, from always icona of the V2 Dual Spark. Like for the Testastretta of before the 848 and the SBK retort then, the 1200 DS will take advantage of the technology sottovuoto Vacural for the fusion of Carter, that respect to a traditional procedure will allow to save approximately 3 kg. Light, second the philosophy all Ducati " less is more" , and with all the CV that serve for one motion of this category, the new Stradaperta 1200 will propose a version corrected review and of the decomposable chassis already seen on Monster 696 and 1100. Posterior Al telaietto in aluminum fusion, therefore, will be joined for means of bolts to high resistance the advanced structure to attice of tubes d' steel, that it will have various form and measures regarding those of the Monster. Staple to turned upside down steles, posterior monoarm and refraining system Brembo to high performances, the new Ducati Stradaperta will rest on wheels in alloy d' aluminum from 17". Not there are rumors, for the moment, of a possible declination enduro of this plan, but not c' it is doubt on the fact that the happened one of rotates front from 19" - you see BMW GS - or for a long time in phase of appraisal to the high plans of the Ducati marketing. We remain waiting for new regarding information the Stradaperta: we will hold to you informed, stay tuned!
