Thanks Bruce, I have seen this method on You Tube. I only had one boot on, and don't know if I could have gotten traction. The thought of the effort to get all the way on the ground again was too painful, and I suspect that any method would have still made me "tense up" at the point where the bike got heavy. That "tensing up" is what caused the additional pain, my back feels fine.

Hate that feeling when you realize there's nothing you can do about what's going to happen. Of course, I don't know if the ones that just slam you into the dirt before you know what happened are any better or worse...

nice new tag, 180 miles each way for me via slab, I refuse to slab for tags so it would be more like 250 miles each way, going to have to wait until the weekend...

No, just worthless. It's an LC4.
