You'd think that with the resources of Lewis Air Legends they'd have sorted things out by now.
There are rumors that this is RB's last year on the course, and that she'll be relegated to a museum duty. Sure hope not.

Well interesting day today. Strega ran the silver and won, but was DQ because he went over the hard line when passing. So he has to race again tomorrow in the silver to get into the gold.

Rare Bear still sounds like shit. They tried all day. Feel bad for them.

I cant comment on Precious Metal other than to say, the team is feeling the best they have in months about the aircraft

well well well.....today was another day of race drama, strega figured out how to race in the lines. Will be in gold match tomorrow

rare bear got herself together today and ran great!

September fury aka 232 blew an engine and the backfire through the intake blew up her intake runner, causing it to come off the aircraft and damage the canopy and tail. Pretty sure she is out of it.

PM finished 4th. Think there is more in her for tomorrow.

I just heard that czech mate had some sort of crash/incident in Shafter. Smoot is ok, but plane has damage. Dont know how much at this time. Will post up as I find details. Heard it described as a minor issue to a hard ground loop to major gear damage. They got 4th in front of us at the races this weekend.

Glad the other crew is OK - and congrats on the finish. Not too shabby considering which engine you were using.

That aircraft certainly has a unique sound.

thanks, we are pretty happy with it....there was so much more going on. But we got her together. Pretty amazing considering!

She does sound like nothing else. We like to say that other mustangs zing through the sky, Precious Metal growls and claws her way!

In a few weeks I will be visiting the Oregon Coast on our yearly pilgrimage. This year I think I'll visit one or both of the Tillamook and Evergreen air museums. Any requested photographs from either?
