Sorry, Unable to get him out this past weekend, as my goal is to getting him farther south!.....

If I can't get a chance to do it, I may pass him off to a friend that can, in hopes of getting him on his way ! But for the moment, he is happy traveling thru SC....

    ciao

Jose, Will Senior Nutzy be dangling along with you to the SCRTL meet tomorrow? What is the chance he will be properly placed this weekend? :ear:wink:

I had a coffee and blueberry bagel with Nutsy before going for a nice ride up to Neese's from Chucktown.

Did Nutsy turn into a bear and go hibernate for the winter?:lol3
I know we have had unusual weather in SC lately. I couldn't ride to work for a week with all the ice around and last weekend I found sections of road that still had slabs of ice on them. It looks clear now though.:deal

wow, he has been hibernating a bit long....:ear
hopefully he will be deposited at some spot on his next "travels", for the purposes of possibly instigating someone to pick him up and continue the process....as that kinda is what the game was about a month ago.:norton

If he's dropped off tomorrow just about anywhere north of Georgia I'll try to head out to get him...that is if I'm not beaten to it. He can spend some time in the lab looking at shells, bones, and pollen before moving on. I'm thinking of heading up to get the North American tag in Maine as soon as it warms enough to find it under the snow and Nutsy would make a nice riding companion.

Weather has been awesome for riding in NC over the last few weeks. With the exception of a couple small snow and ice storms things have stayed relatively mild this winter and the bikes only had to sit in the garage two days so far this year due to inclement conditions. Logged over 2,000 miles of coastal and Piedmont NC since Dec. 21...

Today was most excellent. Didn't even need the thermal underwear. Tomorrow supposed to be the warmest day we've seen since Jan 1.

Not to rub it in too much (knowing that some are still frozen over) but my bike thermometer hit 66 degrees so this is what the wife and I did this afternoon in Raleigh...

Brushing the dust off the NC Tag was grabbed twice this weekend. Today it only sat for 45 minutes before being picked up. If I got on the bike now I could make it a third grab this weekend.

There has been a delay...but Nutsy is out in a warmer state all by himself.....

These guys need to receive credit for helping me get him there.

Journey started on Saturday Jan 29th, 2011 at around 9 am as we left Charleston, SC to move nutsy to his new home down in Florida.

We left charleston to meet PeeDeeRider in Walterboro, SC where the fun really started.

After much coversation, Nutsy wanted to see whom he would like to ride with first, on this long 452 mile day trip.

He had to chose from all of these, including a KLR 650, whom he had ridden with before.

    So on he went....

First he went for a Ducati:
He said this is really fast..just standing here

He then sat on the BMW:
He said this is just like my grandad's cadillac

    He then saw a Harley:
He said, this is really nostalgic.

He then chose the big green mean machine....El Bandito

ON the way...this is what his crew looked liked through the Sideview Mirrors

So...we made it to our destination.

You will find Nutsy....Off Hwy 17..."Ocean's Hwy"....just south of Kingsland, GA...after you cross the Blue Metal Bridge.

He has a new home space to keep him warm, and small rewards for his next savior...

Look for the redcross on the Army First Aid Kit....

    Covered by a Palm Leaf.....next to a bellsouth/att....marker pole....

Thank you Billy...you are great friend....
    [IMG]Thanks for the Company...

If you see this bike...as him about the ticket he got on the way home....Look out for the Cops..and automatic speed ticket camera...by Ridgeland, SC.

Thanks again...for putting up with the delay...I am a man of my word....Thank you for allowing me to play...and keep it moving....
