Hi all - on the merits of handling and smooth power delivery, what would be the best candidate - year, model, cc? airhead BMW to turn into a cafe racer? ive thought about getting a R65 - mainly because they are cheap around here, and their engine is narrower than the 75/80/90/100's....hence greater ground clearance, and the short stroke sound I like as well... but power is good too and the mid-80s R100RS's have 70bhp and all that torque......but a bit exy.. also anyone have a kickstart and rearsets on an airhead or is it mutually exclusive because of the travel of the kickstart rod???? thanks muchly.......
