And can barely get out of it's own way!

On the other hand, owning both a Prius and a BMW puts you solidly in the "sanctimonious" crowd!:lol3

I'm thinking an R/RT will be on tap. When it shows up, it'll replace our R12RT.

I guessed, but they are very different bikes, and it pays to be clear when comparring them.

Judging from the pictures the design is an evolution rather than a revolution, maybe that's a good thing?

Yep. I'm looking at the 'bigger picture', not at the nuts & bolts.

I'm in the "you'd have to be insane to buy the first year" crowd. I'm sure it will be evolutionary and they'll fix the worst mistakes in the first update after the changeover to liquid cooling. If I know my German machines they'll outsmart themselves on a few critical details.

I called a Denver area dealer yesterday and he said that the '13 GSA's are identical to the '12's, including colors. Tripple black is also available and he's getting one in a few days. I'm thinking I might get it & keep it a couple of years until they get the glitches worked out on the new model and then trade it in on one (or maybe just keep it & forget about the water-cooled version). :evil

I have had more than I can count first year and first batch Beemers that have been perfect for as long as I kept them. Never had a problem bike.

I have on order one of the very first Water Boxers to arrive in the US.
