I rode by there last weekend, something was going on. They have a big display every year at the sf fair.

I love the old tractors. If I had a piece of land, I'd get me an old John Deere and ride it around all day.

    Like on Greenacres :D

Decided to donate a like-new tank bag yesterday... you can pick it up (if you find it) along the Turnpike just north of the Pompano plaza. Some idiot forgot to move it from on top of the tail bag back to the tank after getting gas!

I didn't ride either. Serviced other bikes and fell into a deal I couldn't pass up. Bought a 2003 V-Rod. Cleaning it up and servicing it to put it up for sale soon. This is what I do to finance my bike addiction now....:lol3

I'd do it in a heartbeat if I had a trailer to tow my kayak with.

Come to think about it... that may be my next welding and fabrication project. No sense in driving a 14 MPG truck all the way down there when a bike can haul a kayak or two easily enough.

    danh, what restaurant was that?

Taqueria Morelia on the left hand side right before you leave Florida city going west out to the park. I always stop on the way into the park and on the way out. It's always very good.

I think I will stop in there......looks good. I only drive by it twice a day since its on my way to and from work. If you wanna try another good place stop in Rositas. Its right there on Palm Drive, at the light for the Busway and across the street from the Hostel. Same kinda place, mom and pop, simple good cheap!!

Sounds great. I will have to try that one. I like small hole in the wall restaurants.

I have also been to La Pasadita on English Ave. It's really a small place but the food was good.

I generally only come down 997 if I am going to the Everglades or the Keys. Traffic is pretty heavy and lots of stop and go, but there are plenty of good ethnic resaurants.
