Not the small trailer but it work for us.Comfort for the boss is more important then few extra bucks for fuel specially when company pays for the fuel.
When the boss is happy I'm very happy.

I need a trailer to be able to sleep 4 guys (4 beds) for quick weekend cycling training trips. Do any pop-ups do this?

I am not exactly sure yet. I kind of like the big open box...

We have a 5 x 10 now and I can either put a bike in there or we can haul camping gear but not both. This one is 7 x 14, although the v nose gives extra room beyond 14'. The KLR sidecar rig will just squeak in the door with one of the pelicans removed. If I start hard installing a bunch of stuff inside then I will lose that option. We have a Springbar tent for car camping that I really like but the AC on the trailer will open up the option of trips to the beach in the summer like we did when we had a travel trailer.

For now I will probably buy some army cots to get us off the floor, paint the interior with a light color for light reflection and maybe some shelving up high on the sides so bikes can still be loaded. We spend most of the time outside anyway and I like an outdoor kitchen. We will probably still put up the tent for most trips. This just gives us a lot more flexibility.

The last time the wife and I took the box trailer camping (last fall OCR), we took so much stuff it kind of turned into an annoyance. An inflatable bed inside the trailer is NOT the way to go (for us, anyway). We will have to put a little more effort into planning next time. Already have one cot, just need to pick up a second.

Have you looked into roll out awnings for the outside? Seems like that would be a handy way to shelter the kitchen.

Well, I went and bought one yesterday. It's not really little but I think I'm gonna have a blast with it

I bought it to use on bicycle training weekends and it should work perfect. Five different bunks. Well, two bunks, one queen, a drop down settee, and a fold out sofa.

There's a bit of a story it.

Started looking at truck campers. But the amount of money they want 32 square feet of living space was hard to swallow. I would have also needed to upgrade the truck to a 3/4 or one tonn, and wow are the dealers very proud of the hd trucks.
estimated cost $25 to 30 thousand

Started looking at used travel trailers <25` almost impossible to find here(northern Ontario), and I'm 6'4" tall so anything made before 2006 didn't seem to have the interior height I require.

Then started looking at these new fiberglass and aluminum walled lightweight tt, again into big money and little interior height. Estimated cost $20,000

Then I found this "little" trailmaster trailer for $13,500 plus tax. I could stand up in it, and at 4100lbs light enough I could use my chevy half tonn to pull it around. Also two year warranty. Hope to get many goods years out of it. Sadly I covered it today for the winter storage.
