He is welcome in NYG and NE locker rooms. Glad to have him.

Isn't he getting a bit long in the tooth? Green bay defense really did suck big time this year too.

Perhaps for a 5 or CB, but he is still one of the smartest db's in the game and will make an excellent safety. NE, Denver, Dallas, Redskins, Giants...could be the difference.

Maybe he's lost a half-step. Maybe. But he more than makes up for that with his football IQ. He'll get that half-step jump back with reading the play and anticipation.

GB is watching talent walk out the door left and right, Woods on is gonna be missed since he's the only one that can tackle. Looks like they're gonna put all the marbles on Rodgers, Matthews and Raji and have bench warmers fill the rest of the team.

The Jets look like they're retooling. I think they released five guys yesterday, and cleared about $34 million in cap space. I wonder what old Rex has up his sleeve....

It looks like the world is finally ralizing SoCal quartebacks, suck the hind tit. A bunch of self impressed smart asses who fail in the NFL. I believe Carson Palmer was the last one who had any success playing with the big boys.

It's a bummer the league has so few quarterbacks, and the backup situation sux (see the Bears loss to GB, and back play in that game).

I agree. I think Geno Smith will go in the first round (maybe KC, maybe not), but I don't know if he has first-round talent.

    Probably his updated resume.

If they miss the playoffs next season, he's done.

I'd have to say you're probably right. No playoffs = no job.

Not so sure about that. Mr. Johnson seems to really like him. It will be interesting to see what happens. Right now it seems to be a state of confusion. But that may just be the new GM trying to get up to speed in a hurry before the draft and people saying things they shouldn't. He could be bouncing ideas around and it is getting spilled to the press, without real merit.

Bears haven't decided yet on Brian Urlacher.

This is a tough decision for Phil, I'm sure.

Remember when the 49ers upgraded and traded Montana to the Chiefs and then when Montana won like three SuperBowls with the Chiefs?
    Yeah, that was awesome!
